Christmas Clothes for Dogs

I don’t often put clothes on my dog. Many times they don’t like it. After I have a dog for a few years though, it’s different. They trust me more, and I can coax them into wearing clothes. When they do, in some circumstances, they enjoy the attention. Then, I can get a real kick out of it because I know my pooch is having fun too.

I always try to be careful of what clothes I’m putting on my pup, and I make sure they fit reasonably well without binding, and pulling in places that are uncomfortable for my dog.

All that said, if you’re having a Christmas party, dressing your dog up can be a whole lot of fun. Be sure you start plenty early with some practice runs to get Fido acclimated to whatever it is you’re putting on him.

There’s a world of difference between a dog that’s used to something, and one who’s trying it for the first time.
